If you are able to donate your time, skills and/or aircraft then you can be a Hope Air Volunteer Pilot! Hundreds of pilots across Canada are VPP Pilots but we need more, like you, to help us in our mission of Getting Canadians to getting better!

The minimum experience requirements you must meet to volunteer as Pilot in Command are:

  1. Valid Canadian private, commercial, or airline transport pilot licence;
  2. 500 hours, total time;
  3. 400 hours, PIC;
  4. 50 hours in make and model; and
  5. 30 hours during the past 12 months.

What do you need to become a Volunteer Pilot?

Registration Form


2. Send to us the completed Registration Form with a copy of your:

----a. Certificate of Airworthiness
----b. Certificate of Registration
----c. Annual Airworthiness Information Report
----d. Proof of Insurance

3. Hope Air will get back to you quickly; and soon you will
be taking kindness to new heights!
