The Hope Air Volunteer Pilot
Program (VPP) provides general aviation pilots with the
opportunity to combine their passion for flying with their
desire to help people less fortunate.
Volunteer Pilots donate their
time and flying skills to provide air transportation for
Canadians in financial need seeking medical treatment outside
their home community.
Pilots who meets the minimum
qualifications can become a Hope Air Volunteer Pilot:
1.Valid Canadian private,
commercial, or airline transport pilot licence;
2. 500 hours, total time;
3. 400 hours, PIC;
4. 50 hours in make and model; and
5. 30 hours during the past 12 months.

15, 2009.)
