Volunteers are an integral part of Hope Air: they assist in all areas of
our mission - from taking client flight requests to manning our booth at local events.

Volunteers help in other ways, such as...

Calgary Flying Club Event: July 8, 2007

On Sunday July 8, 2007, Hope Air and the Calgary Flying Club
celebrated its partnership by formally inaugurating the Calgary Flying Club at Hope Air's Western Canada VPP Base. The event was coupled with the Flying Club's Annual Stampede Breakfast and included a raffle and silent auction for attendees.

Special Guest, Dr. Marc Garneau, Hope Air's Honourary Patron,
attended and welcomed the Calgary Flying Club and its members
to the Hope Air family.

Volunteers from the Foresters in Calgary, decked out in full Stampede garb, gave their time to sell raffle tickets, man the silent auction table and ensure that everyone had a great time.

Many thanks to everyone for making the event a huge success!

Client Service Volunteers

Every weekday at the Hope Air office, volunteers arrive to man the Client Service Call-Centre. These gracious supporters assist the staff by taking client flight requests, confirming medical appointments with hospitals and doctors, providing flight details and conducting follow-up calls with all our clients upon their return home.
