Bio – Blair McRobie

Mr. McRobie was a corporate Vice President with Royal Bank of Canada. His career included working in the corporate finance sector in London, Paris, Tokyo and New York. He also managed the bank’s corporate finance team in the Unted States and was assigned to the Private Investment Company for Asia in Tokyo. Mr. McRobie was Vice President, Corporate Affairs based in Ottawa with responsibility for the bank’s relationships with the federal government and diplomatic corps, and later, VP & Executive Director, Royal Bank Charitable Foundation.

Following retirement, Mr. McRobie was President & CEO and Executive Director of the Parkinson Foundation of Canada and the Treasury Management Association of Canada. He has been president and/or a board member of a number of not-for-profit organizations, and treasurer for two churches. He is a McGill University graduate and holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
