Bio – Gerd Wengler

Mr. Wengler is President of Park Property Management Inc., one of Canada’s largest owned/managed property management companies. Park’s 300 employees manage 8,000 apartments and 30 industrial buildings in the Toronto area. He has a post-graduate degree in mining engineering from Germany, an M.B.A. from the University of Saskatchewan and is a P. Eng. Prior to joining Park, he held senior management roles in manufacturing (St. Lawrence Cement) and mining (Cameco Corp.).

Mr. Wengler is a pilot and has flown for more than 3,200 hours in 15 countries and three continents. He and his wife Dorothy (also a Hope Air volunteer) have crossed the North Atlantic five times in their single engine Cessna. He has also flown more than 75 Hope Air missions. Mr. Wengler holds an Airline Transport License (ATPL) and is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS). In addition to being a Board Member of Hope Air, he is very involved with Rotary International.
