Hope Air Launches Updated Website
Toronto April 2, 2008 – Hope Air, the only national charity that arranges flights for Canadians in financial need to required medical care, today launched its new updated website, designed by Exclusive Group of Toronto.
In announcing the launch, Hope Air Executive Director Doug Keller-Hobson described the website as “a vital connection for our clients, volunteer pilots and its many corporate and individual supporters.”
Mr. Keller-Hobson said that, in addition to information on Hope Air and its Mission, answers to frequently asked questions and Profiles of Hope covering client success stories, the updated website has a number of innovative features, including:
- An enhanced user interface to enable ease when navigating the site;
- A new online interactive form for Clients to request a Flight;
- A new “Adopt A Flight” feature for donors who wish to sponsor a specific flight; and
- Details on Hope Air’s Volunteer Pilots Program for those donating their time and aircraft to fly missions not available from Commercial Airlines; and
Mr. Keller-Hobson also noted the new website contains enhanced recognition of Hope Air’s airline partners and government, corporate and foundation supporters. “These organizations, along with our individual supporters, enable Hope Air to provide its vital service to Canadians in need. Through their support, we recently were able to provide our 53,000 th flight.”
